What started out as such a difficult, sickly, and LONG pregnancy has suddenly almost reached its end and I find myself staring into the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy with baby Stone! I think I'm going to have a panic attack! Just when I'm settling into my new shape and starting to feel good, even with an additional 32.5 pounds looming over my swollen feet, its almost over! I guess that's how things go!
I have to admit that this last month or two really hasn't been so bad. I've been able to slow down on my classes a few weeks ago by taking maternity leave early and focusing on just working out on my own. This has been especially nice since I usually don't have the time to go to other instructor's classes and now I can! I'm not doing nearly as many jewelry shows, but the ones I am having have turned out to be wonderful and I'm thankful for God continuing to bless my jewelry business even as I am slowing down. Haven is finally getting the hang of the potty training situation and although naptimes right now are a huge battle, I think it may actually make the transition next week into her "big girl bed" a whole lot easier and smoother! Micah is getting to go to VBS and relax a little around the house and swim a lot, so her summer isn't nearly as AWFUL as it is when we're spending every morning at the gym, as she likes to remind me we "ALWAYS" do. Poor thing.
We just reduced our asking price for our wonderful house by quite a bit, so hopefully more doors will open for potential buyers and we can start looking at houses again! Its actually not so bad keeping my house clean all the time so we can show it at the drop of a hat. If I could just get my kids and husband to follow suite...
All-in-all, things are going good. I'm only swollen some of the time, I'm getting up only once in the middle of the night to pee so I feel like I'm getting good deep sleep each night, and the Lord has blessed us recently in some wonderful and unexpected ways. Baby Stone moves around like a boll-weevel toy (does anyone remember those? It was a furry tail attached to a mechanical ball that spun around like crazy? lol) but that means he's healthy. Or it means he will be a crazy energetic tornado like his middle sister Haven! Either way, thank you Lord for my life!
